Real (RL) Kids on IMVU or Secondlife

I made a post on my Facebook this morning asking a question :

I joined IMVU around the time it launched and I played all the way up until 2009/2010 when I decided to follow my "Sisters" to Secondlife. My oldest son has been watching me play on both platforms pretty much his entire life. 

How did I feel when I found out he was on IMVU?

I asked him to come to SL and be my son. He refused said SL was too hard to learn.

What age does he play?

My son is a teen in RL and he switches between a child and a teen.

Do he have a family on IMVU? How do I feel about it:

Yes my son has a family on IMVU and it doesn't bother me. I know how role playing goes.

How do I feel about uploading Credits for my son:

Well shit I just do it. He ain't too high maintenance although you would think so. His avatars are FLY.

Talking to strangers :

I simply told him this a white van scenario.

Welcome to the Future and the Revert

So it's 2020 and we have all been introduced to this thing called "The Coronavirus" ,it has us on lock down from state to state, country to country. Yeah, Quarantine is what they are calling it. With Quarantine came my; as well as many other's I know return to this place called Secondlife. 

Just like any return after a years and years long Hiatus we have been hit with some new shit. Yes this time it's BOM !!! What is BOM? 

Well BOM (Bakes on Mesh). BOM allows you to wear your vintage/old tattoo and clothing Layers as well as eyes and etc over/on your new Mesh heads and Mesh bodies. Ooooooooo!! I know right? All you need is either the right Body Parts already installed with BOM or a awesome BOM installer relay system. I use Belleza so I included a link to their BOM HUD below.

Fun fact(s) : You can still add all those layers and it will show up caked on just like the old'n days. Talk about free range. 

My opinion on the "New Thing" is try it I am sure you will like it. Don't give up it might seem kinda tricky my advice to you is if the alpha don't say BOM you are doing something wrong and it will not work. Also make sure you have the most up to date viewers, older viewers don't support BOM. You can too find tutorials on how to use BOM online. I was stubborn and learned the hard way (on my own).

I will include pictures at a later time to go more into detail for the beginners .
